Tulare Golf Course

Tulare Golf Course is a 6,762 yard, 18-hole layout with Bent Grass Poa greens, Bermuda fairways, and tees. The elevated greens on the front nine will challenge even the best ball strikers. The fairways are outlined with Eucalyptus and Chinese Pistachio trees, and the course plays much tighter than the 127 slope from the blue tee markers. We feel confident in saying that Tulare’s track is one of the toughest in the Central Valley, yet still remarkably enjoyable to play.

19th Hole Review

This is arguably one of the best 19th holes in the valley. It has a full restaurant, full bar, and the added bonus of a large covered, climate controlled patio. The full bar has a sports bar feel with TV’s strategically placed around the bar and featuring all types of televised sports.

Obviously this is a full service experience with wait staff and bartenders. Service is generally pretty good, but can be a little slow during busy times with locals (regulars) getting preferential treatment. But overall we give this place a big thumbs up on both service and food. Be nice, tip well and you will be treated like one of the regulars.

Overall the 19th hole experience is top notch. This is one of our favorite post golf round joints.

Driving Range Review

Driving Range is wide open and generally in pretty good shape. You are hitting off of real grass which to us is a big plus. There are a lot of targets and it gives the range a carnival kind of look we don’t like very much. A small bucket of range balls (about 28) costs $10.25. Range balls are in good shape and are purchased and given to you in the pro shop.

Tulare features night driving range use under the lights. This is pretty cool and few courses in the Central Valley feature driving under the lights.
