The Gangsta League Par 3 Challenge is sure to test your skills off the box and around the greens. This year’s Par 3 Challenge will be hosted by the Valley Oaks Golf Club in Visalia, CA. This is a regular stroke play tournament and you will still have an opponent who is trying to take you down. Please see the point values listed below for this event.
There are three ways to win money. The first is a closest to the pin on the first par three hole. Achieve the closest measurement and you will receive one-third of the pot.
The second way to win a third of the pot will be by having the lowest score of the combined Par 3 holes. Any ties have the option of splitting the money or having a chip-off for the tie-breaker.
The third way to win is through Par 3 Poker. Every player receives one card. For every Par 3 green you hit on a tee shot, you will receive one additional poker card. At the conclusion of the round a four card flop is dealt. The best five card poker hand wins. In the event of a tie, the player who earned the most poker cards by hitting greens wins. Still a tie? Then we have a one shot chip-off to settle the score.
